wikipedia should switch to Blue for Republicans and Red for Democrats

Jesusland

While the current color scheme had been most popular by 1996 and 2000 firmly cemented it, I have found a couple prominent websites in 2004 still using blue for Bush and red for Kerry.

The very popular Jesusland map meme (splitting the country into Red States as Jesusland and Blue States joining Canada) made after 2004 may have been the final nail in the coffin for the alternatives and helped fully solidify the transition 2000 had nearly completed.
